Artist Researcher

Gabriela Amorós

Hi

welcome to my web

My life has always been guided by listening and by the pursuit of knowledge. My first tools emerged through art and writing, where I explored symbolism in the artistic realm, and poetry and essay writing as literary forms. I consider both to hold deep philosophical and holistic potential.

I am interested in knowledge as a personal and professional experience—both sensory and entropic. The visual record, through art, of multidisciplinary understanding has always been my greatest aspiration.

Since 2016, my professional activity has developed at the intersection of art and science. My paleoartistic work arises from the synergy of various disciplines that converge around paleontology to decipher aspects of prehistory. This involves collaboration with prehistorians, archaeologists, anthropologists, zoologists, ecologists, botanists, mathematicians, philosophers, and others from different countries.

My specialization lies in the reconstruction of prehistoric landscapes based on paleobotanical and paleoecological data resulting from the research conducted by ECCEHOMO, the Research Group of the University of Murcia (Spain).

TESTIMONIALS

Amazing

“Fascinating work showing how Neanderthal environments were far from uniform. Instead of endless treeless steppes, they lived in a rich mosaic of forests, shrublands, and grasslands that shifted with climate and time — a comprehensive, deep picture of ecological heterogeneity across Pleistocene Europe. Amazing scholarship and paleo-art by Pepe Carrion and colleagues!”
